Rings of Dara Sakor
2008–2026
The most credible witness to what has been built in Dara Sakor is the satellite. This film uses one image a year and lays eighteen years of change out in order.
Rings of Dara Sakor uses one satellite image a year, 2008–2026, to mark what has been built in Dara Sakor (Koh Kong Province, Cambodia): the 68 km Say Phuthang Boulevard (named and opened in 2018), two reservoirs with about 25 million m³ of storage, two 18-hole golf courses, the national grid connection in 2017, Dara Sakor International Port's first voyage in September 2023, Dara Sakor International Airport's first flight on 26 December 2024, and the direct Phnom Penh route from April 2025. It ends close in on Soksan Sakor Land (Residential Land) Phase I (30 ha).
